Theresa "Terry" Tkac, age 90, of Blaine Hill, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at UPMC Mercy. She retired as a secretary for the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing and was a former secretary for the United States Glass Company in Glassport. She was a member of Queen of the Rosary Church in Glassport where she was involved with the Rosary Society and Christian Mothers. A long-time poll worker for elections in Blaine Hill, she was a member of the Catholic Daughter's Bowling League, the Divine Redeemer Motherhouse Guild, and Century III Mall AARP. Born February 9, 1932 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late John and Lucille (Grabski) Honacki and wife of the late Andrew V. “Panda” Tkac. She is survived by her son, Gary F. Tkac of Live Oak, FL; grandchildren, Andrew Robert (Kristin) Tkac, Erica Tkac, Mary Beth Tkac and Joseph "JJ" Tkac; also, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 5-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 12 Noon at Queen of the Rosary Church with the Rev. Miroslaus Wojcicki officiating.
