Gloria A. Amendola-Johnston, 95, of White Oak, died February 26, 2022.  She was born February 1, 1927 in McKeesport to Pietro and Nicolina Tambella.  She was predeceased by first husband Lawrence Amendola, second husband Thomas Johnston, & sister Thelma (Kenneth) Sharpe.  She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, McKeesport and was a member of several card clubs.  She worked for the US Steel Credit Union and retired from US Steel Corporation. 

Gloria is survived by her son, Dr. Mark Amendola (Barbara) of Endicott, NY, sister-in-law, Rose Crupie and many special cousins and friends.  We are grateful to Andrea, Mary Lou, Chris, Toni, Rosalyn, and Joe that often visited her while at Walden's View Nursing Facility.  

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until Noon at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 310 32^nd Street, McKeesport, PA 15132. Entombment will follow at Lebanon Chapel Mausoleum of West Mifflin.

Should friends desire, expressions of sympathy can be made to St. Patrick’s Church, 310 32^nd Street, McKeesport, PA 15132.
