Lois Jean MacAlpine died in hospice on March 19, 2022 in Edina, MN due to complications from Alzheimers. She was 83 years old. Lois was born on December 19, 1938 in McKeesport, PA to her parents, August and Marie Kellerman. Lois was proceeded in death by her husband Malcolm Andrew MacAlpine who she married in 1958.

Lois embraced life and participated with great passion and kindness. She loved walking, hiking, dancing, the ocean, travel, classical music and sweets!

Lois MacAlpine is survived by her daughter Valerie MacAlpine, son Scott MacAlpine, daughter Nancy Pierson, daughter Jill MacAlpine, granddaughter Meghan Pierson, grandson Nicolas (Maggie) Pierson, sister Marleen Sudie, Karen (Tim) Matta and Lynda Marino and cherished caretaker Josy Pressor.

Services for Lois will be privately held for family only. A memorial will be held at a later date for friends.
