Harry H. Evans, age 91, of Rostraver Township, formerly of White Oak, went to his heavenly home on Saturday, April 2, 2022 to be reunited with his wife and son. He was born in McKeesport on December 8, 1930 and is the son of the late Daniel and Francis Duncan Evans. He retired from Kinton Carbide in Export, PA. Harry was a 52-year member of White Oak American Legion Post 701. Harry was known for his big heart, his love for his family, and his sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his daughter and family.

He is survived by his daughter, Bonnie (Don) Evans Rowe of Rostraver Township; grandsons, Brendon (Robin) Rowe; Blain Rowe; Bailey Rowe; Brogan (Angelica) Rowe; Breayr Rowe; and great-grandchildren, Liyana Rowe; and Ashton Rowe; sister, Gerri Nestor of North Huntington; brother-in-law, Paul Driscoll of Murfreesboro, TN; Gerard Driscoll of Monongahela, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Catherine Driscoll Evans; son, Brian K. Evans; brothers Herb Evans; John Evans; and sister, Anna Margaret Gach.

Family and friends will gather at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until Noon, when services will be held in the funeral home chapel.
