Carol A. Snyder, age 75, of West Mifflin, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022. Daughter of the late Michael “Lefty” & late Helen (Pavuchak) Fecik, she was born in McKeesport, on April 15, 1947. Prior to being a homemaker, she was an executive secretary at the University of Pittsburgh, a cashier at Shop ’n Save, Duquesne, a lunch lady for the West Mifflin School District and worked in the “latch key” program for the West Mifflin School District. Carol was the beloved wife of 54 years to the late Robert P. Snyder, who passed away on March 24, 2022; mother of Robert Snyder of West Mifflin and Marcie L. (Thomas M.) Smith of Deland, FL; grandmother of Katie (Roger French) Atkinson, Jacob Atkinson, & James Smith; sister of Michael (Kathleen) Fecik of Plum Boro; aunt of Alysson (Eric) Buchan, Michael (Justine) Fecik, Amanda (Daniel) Cruz, Ben (Kaitlin) Fecik & Matthew (Leslie) Fecik. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2022, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, April 29, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Demitri Emarakov, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Cemetery, West Mifflin.
