Florence M. (Kazmierowski) Steindl, age 96, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Huntington Common in Kennebunk, Maine. She retired as a secretary for Wilson Baum Agency in McKeesport. She was a member of St. Joachim and Anne Parish, St. Michael Church in Elizabeth Twp., where she was a rosary maker. She was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels for many years as well as a longtime volunteer with VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance). Born August 1, 1925 in Glassport, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Helen (Grzeczka) Kazmierowski and wife of 73 years to the late Edward J. Steindl. She is survived by daughter, Carol Gioia of Rostraver Twp.; sons, Donald E. Steindl of Watkinsville, GA and Andrew G. (Teresa) Steindl of Dayton, ME; grandchildren, Matthew (Katie) Steindl of Raleigh, NC, Bradley Steindl of Boalsburg, Gregory Steindl of Auburn, ME, Brian (Amy) Dinello of Rostraver Twp., Lisa (Luke) Leyh of Washington, DC and Angela (BJ) Schneider of Ashland, OH; great-grandchildren, Gabreale and Alexa Dinello, Jayson and Liam Schneider, David, Jordyn and Ryder Steindl; sister, Grace (Milo) Cubra of Albuquerque, NM; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Eric A. Steindl; grandsons, Erik and Ryan Steindl; and sisters, Theresa Zyra and Dolores Wayne. A memorial gathering will take place on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 3-7 PM in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 9:30 AM in St. Michael's Church, Elizabeth Twp. with Rev. Thomas Wagner officiating. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH) Inurnment to follow at Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
