Stanley J. Kielnar, age 96, of McKeesport, died on Sunday, May 15, 2022. He was born in McKeesport on June 28, 1925 and is the son of the late Joseph and Rose Rzetelny Kielnar. He proudly served in the United States Army during World War II. After the war, he was employed as a laborer at US Steel, Duquesne Works. He was a member and former usher at Mary, Mother of God Parish, Corpus Christi Church; White Oak American Legion, General Smedley D. Butler, Post 701, White Oak American Legion; and the McKeesport Polish National Alliance Club, Lodge 352.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Helen Michalek Kielnar; son, Stephen Kielnar of McKeesport; daughter, Beth Ann (Anthony) Turcan of Elizabeth; grandson, Jozef Turcan of Elizabeth; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cecilia and brother-in-law, James Calvin; and fury friend, Holly.

Family and friends are meeting on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Mary, Mother of God Parish, Corpus Christi Church, 2515 Versailles Avenue, McKeesport, PA 15132. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Polish Cemetery.
