James A. Duncan Jr., 79, of North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital. He was born June 7, 1942 in Mckeesport, a son of the late James A. and Eleanor F. (Steele) Duncan. Jim was a member of The Church in Sutersville. He was a strong man of faith and had a deep passion for playing his guitar in the church choir. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed both hunting and fishing. Jim was a self employed plasterer for Duncan Brothers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James, his brother Robert Duncan, his sister, Donna Hoder .He is survived by his wife, Gerry Noah Duncan, three daughters, Patty Barrett (Harold), Sharon Diable (David), and Bonnie Bartos, one brother, Conrad Duncan (Lisa) , three grandchildren, Rebecca Schapira, Rachelle Barrett, Bryan Bartos, two great grandchildren, Hailey and Emily. A memorial service will be held Sunday at 1:00 P.M. at The Church in Sutersville with Pastor Frank Rocco officiating.
