Robert "Tip" J. Wible, 73, of Port Vue, died May 24, 2022. He is the son of the late Henry and Anna (Demchak) Wible and beloved husband of Marianne (Derewonko) Wible.

He is survived by his children Jamie (the late Dennis) Gribschaw, Robbie (Beth) Wible, Jennifer (Corey Anderson) Domanick Pasinski, Michael Wible and Thomas Wible; grandchildren Kevin, Breanna, Christina, Brian and Brooke; sisters Regina Thorne, Patricia Burns, Kathy Kiggins and Carol Dranko; also nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by sister Sarah Krajack and brothers Edward, Henry "Chick", James and Michael Wible. Tip was proud to call himself a "Glasputian" and to have been part of the last class to graduate from Glassport High School.  He went on to serve with the Army in Vietnam, where he was exposed to the Agent Orange, which eventually caused the many illnesses  that led to his death.

Known as "The Chicken Man" he was the owner of Farmer's Poultry in McKeesport until 2013, best chicken in the Mon Valley.  Throughout the summers he could be found at many church and community festivals throughout the area doing open pit bar-b-que or chicken-on-a-stick.  Tip loved to travel, visit casinos and play poker with his family.  He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and outdoorsman.  He loved to hunt and fish with his kids, grandkids and nephews.  He was a kind man who never had a bad word to say about anyone.  He could talk for hours with a complete stranger and part as friends.  He gave special nicknames to family, friends and many of his customers.  He will be terribly missed by so many.  He was a member of St. Joachim and Anne Parish and the American Legion in Glassport.

Friends will be received at the Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport on Tues., May 31st from 6 to 8 and Wed., June 1 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8.  A funeral mass will be held Thurs. 10:30 am at Queen of the Rosary Church with Father Wojcicki.  Interment following at 1:00 pm at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
