Richard Stein, 84, Glassport, formerly of New York, passed away at Baldwin Health Center on Sunday September 11, 2016.  He was born on May 25, 1932 in New York City, NY.

He is survived by his friends and family at Winter’s Haven Personal Care Home. Richard was a Proof Reader & Type Setter for a small valley newspaper for 25 years.  He was an avid reader and a sports enthusiast especially when it came to baseball.  Family and friends will be received on Thursday September 15, 2016 from Noon – 1:00 pm at E. C. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 235 Monongahela Ave., Glassport,  PA   15045.  A memorial service will take place at the funeral home immediately following visitation presided by Rabbi Paul Tuchman. Inurnment will take place on Friday September 16, 2016 at 10:00 am at Richland Cemetery, Dravosburg,  PA.  Online condolences may be offered at www.finneyfuneralhome.com
