Beverly J. (Tritt) Zikeli, 78, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday September 13, 2016. She was born September 19, 1937 in Ellwood City, the daughter of the late David W. and Ida (Bunney) Tritt. Beverly graduated from Jamison Hospital School of Nursing, New Castle, and was an industrial nurse working for U.S. Steel, Vandergrift, Allegheny Ludlum, Leechburg, and retired from Westinghouse Electric Co., Churchill.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Irwin, where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Women of the ELCA. She also was a former member of the Apollo Ridge Area School Board and volunteered her time with Meals on Wheels. She is survived by her husband Reverend Frederick B. Zikeli; her daughter Melanie (Elliott) Hines of Woodbridge, Va.; her son Andrew F. Zikeli II of North Huntingdon; her grandchildren Nathaniel and Brianna Washington; her sisters Barbara J. (George) Zikeli of Jacksonville FL, Charlotte Yates of Columbus OH, and Karen (Terry) Kiesling of Scottsdale, AZ; her brother David (the late Doris) Tritt of Philadelphia; also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the William Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church with Reverend Clifton J. Suehr officiating. Interment will follow in Brush Creek Cemetery.
