Rebecca Dakin, 64, of North Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Redstone Highlands, Greensburg. She was born November 1, 1957 in McKeesport, daughter of the late Lloyd E. and Dorothy (Kondrich) Dakin. Before her retirement, Rebecca taught at Penn Hills High School, where she was named Teacher of the Year. She was a member of the Ardara Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Becky was a passionate teacher, a master quilter, and a trusted mentor. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her siblings, Deborah, Loretta, and Lloyd Dakin. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on July 13, 2022 at 11 am at Ardara Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 3380 Nehrig Hill Road, Ardara, PA 15615. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests donations to the Westmoreland Food Bank or Wounded Warriors. Arrangements made by the James W.
