James Joseph Mayernik, age 60 of Coraopolis, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022. Born June 12, 1962 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Andrew B. and Mary (Potoma) Mayernik. James was  employed by Clean Sweep, Mon Yough Community Services and Citizens Care Affiliates. Active in scouting, he was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Order of the Arrow. Jim enjoyed biking on the Yough River Trail, swimming and was a remarkable dancer. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Paul. James is survived by his loving sisters Marilou Rubright, husband Terry, Janet Paladino, husband Joel Erion, and brother David Mayernik, wife Amy; and was the favorite Uncle to his 10 nephews and nieces. He will be fondly remembered in his community at Citizens Care. The family would like to offer their gratitude and heartfelt thanks to Tony DiBiagio, Lisa Bruce, Victor Porch and all the many staff and friends that were part of his extended family and caregivers.  

A memorial service and celebration of his beautiful life will be held at Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish - St. Michael's Church, 101 McLay Dr., Elizabeth, PA 15037 on Saturday, October 15th, 2022 at 10 AM with Fr. Miroslaus Wojcicki officiating. Interment will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.   Arrangements by the Daniel F.
