Nita (D'Amico) Cheripka, 75, of Wilmerding died peacefully on October 8, 2022. Nita was the devoted wife of Thomas Cheripka. Loving mother of Monica (Robert) Murphy, Thomas Cheripka Jr., and Brad (Julie) Cheripka; adoring grandmother of Jeremy, John “Jake”, Delaney, Collin, Zachary and Reagan. Nita is also survived by her siblings, Donald D’Amico, Patricia Cheripka and Pamela Matviya, step siblings, Mary Ann Medvis, Rose “Tiny” Monk, James “Bull” Cheripka, Robert “Bucky” Cheripka, Edward Cheripka, Ronald Cheripka, and Mark Cheripka, numerous nieces and nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, David and Blanche Virginia (Shaffer) D’Amico, step mother, Helen (Cheripka) D’Amico, and her brother, Michael D’Amico.

She loved deeply, lived fully, and served others well. May we all strive to carry on her legacy.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Jude the Apostle Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish. Nita was laid to rest privately at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Please www.alfierifuneralhome.com for online condolences.
