Michael R. Megon, 65, of Trafford, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at his home. He was born June 25, 1957 in Cleveland, OH, a son of the late Richard and Carmella (Meli) Megon. Michael was currently an insurance agent for Century Insurance Consultants in Monroeville. He was a member of St. Agnes Parish and a graduate of Penn Trafford High School Class of '75. He was an avid golfer, Lego enthusiast, Pittsburgh Pirates fan and diehard Cleveland Brown fan, and especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Joann (Kunkelmann) Megon; son, Bryan Megon and his wife, Katie; daughter, Lindsay Marco and her husband, David; brother, Corey (Diana) Megon; sister, Marcy (Gary) Snyder; grandchildren, Gavin, Riley, Chase, Parker and Charlotte. Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. on Friday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA  15642.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Church. Interment to follow in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Monroeville, PA.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
