John Edward Pancurak, Jr., age 97, of Port Vue, died on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. He was born in Port Vue on August 1, 1925 and is the son of the late John Edward, Sr. and Mary Suhy Pancurak and the husband of the late Margaret Loretta Pancurak, who died on May 26, 2014. John proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII. After his service, he was employed as a quality auditor for General Motors Fisher Auto Body in West Mifflin. He was a member of Saints Joachim and Anne Parish, the Port Vue American Legion Post 447, the Jednota Lodge #38 in Duquesne, and the Wilkinsburg Stamp Club.

He is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Pancurak of Liberty Boro; Donna (Thomas) Price of Monroeville; grandchildren, Lynn (Beau) Robbins; Beth Williams; and great-grandchild, Carys Williams.

In addition to his parents and wife, John was preceded in death by his siblings, Martin (the late Ruth) Pancurak; Walter (the late Irene) Pancurak; Anthony (the late Agnes); Mary (the late George) Bowers; and Mercedes (the late Daniel) Vehouc.

Family and friends will gather on Sunday, October 30, 2022 from Noon until 4:00 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 31, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Saints Joachim and Anne Parish, Saint Eugene Church, 3210 Liberty Way, Liberty Boro, PA 15133. Burial will follow.
