Daniel George Winter,  97, of White Oak, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022. He was born August 10, 1925 in Clairton and was the son of the late Daniel and Ida (Hummel) Winter. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in White Oak, and was a retired Operating Engineer for Union Hall 66. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Dolores J. (Halvorsen) Winter, nephews, Charles Grimm, and Steven Grimm, and nieces, Heather Grimm, Jennifer Gostkowski, and Janet Brunck. Friends are welcome Monday December 12, 2022 from 10 am to 1 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak. (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, director. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 1 pm. The Rev. Michael Ryan will officiate. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.
