William L. “Bill” Garvin, 77, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Monday, December 12, 2022 at home. He was born July 21, 1945 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Russell and Anna (Hughes) Garvin. He was a proud graduate of McKeesport High School, Westminster College and The Duquesne School of Law. Bill practiced law for 52 years and had offices in Boston, PA and currently in White Oak, PA.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Margaret J. Garvin; sister, Cynthia Ward of Ambridge; brother, Robert Garvin of Macungie; nephews. Robert and Brian Kightlinger both of Ambridge and Russell Garvin of Cincinnati, OH; and niece, Christine De’Ambrosia of Upper Montclair, NJ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Garvin. Friends are welcome on Friday, December 16, 2022, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm & again on Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, Director. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel following visitation at 11:00 am with the Rev. Paul Walter, officiating. Entombment will follow at the Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
