Norma J. Malloy, age 91, of Duquesne, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at home. Born in Pittsburgh on September 29, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Casmir Ganczak and the late Julia (Novak) Ganczak Toth. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish-St. Joseph Church and was a member of the former Confraternity of Christian Mothers and Guild, where she served as president, vice president and treasurer. She also belonged to the choir and was a CCD teacher. Norma was the wife of the late Francis M. “Sonny” Malloy; mother of Paul (Janice) Malloy of Munhall, Sharon Malloy McCracken of West Mifflin, Patrick Malloy of Duquesne and the late Dennis Malloy; grandmother of Diana (Nick) Barney, Melanie Boyer, Hannah Malloy, Sean Malloy and Brittany McCracken; sister of Rosemary Monzak of Library, PA, late Ronald Ganczak and late Robert (Chris survives) Toth; and sister-in-law of Marcia (late Jim) Malloy of West Mifflin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and former daughters-in-law Carmen and Pamela. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022, from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR. A Blessing Service will be held after visitation, on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at 12:30 p.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m., in St. Joseph Church-Duquesne, with Rev. Dan Sweeney officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
