Thomas E. Grygo, 93, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022. He was born February 28, 1929 in McKeesport and was the son to the late Leo "Bozo" and Miona (Riley) Grygo. He was the husband to the late Anna R. Grygo, who passed away September 4, 2021. Thomas grew up Catholic and was a former member of St. Perpetua. In his youth, he was a gymnast & throughout his life, he remained an avid jogger. He would listen to music while jogging, but his favorite artist to listen to was Frank Sinatra. He served in the Army, and then went on to work for US Steel for many years before retirement. Thomas absolutely adored his wife, Anna, and devoted his time to taking great care of her throughout their lives together, especially into her later years before her passing. He was a dog lover, and enjoyed spending his time playing and taking care of them too.
Thomas is survived by his daughter; Patricia A. Jameson of Pittsburgh, grandsons; Robert T. Jameson III, and Thomas S. Jameson, both of Greenock, great-grandson; Jesse Jameson of Forward Township, and in-laws; Ventura & Carmella Krutz, both of Greenock as well. In addition to his parents and wife, Thomas is also preceded in death by his sister; Jean Kushner, and his grandson; Joseph J. Jameson. There is no visitation.
