Randy Jay Biem, age 66, of Forward Twp., passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023 at home. A Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, he retired after more than 12 years of service as a wheelchair van driver for Jefferson Hills Ambulance in Jefferson Hills. He loved starting seeds in the house, moving them into a little greenhouse outside, then planting and caring for all his vegetables and flowers for hanging baskets. Neighbors and friends would tell him how beautiful his garden and hanging baskets were and could see how much love went into them. He also enjoyed watching his two hummingbird feeders and loved helping family, friends and neighbors. Born June 27, 1956 in Wolf Point, MT, he was a son of the late Raymond Curtis and Mary Louise (Isle) Biem. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Dolores "Dee" Jean (Fine) Biem; daughter, Tonya Jean (Doug) Fohr of Baldwin; son, Randy Ray Biem of West Mifflin; granddaughter, Kirsten Pearl Fohr; brothers, Ronald (Trixie) Biem of Montana, Robert "Bob" Biem of Arizona, Ernest (Terri) Biem of Montana and Raymond "Rayme" Biem of Montana; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Carol "Jeannie" Holmes. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 2 PM until the time of service in the funeral home chapel at 6 PM with the Rev.
