Scott Michael Mason, 59, of Pittsburgh, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022 at McKeesport Hospital. He was born September 7, 1963 in Pittsburgh and is the son of Diane Mason Sobczak. Scott worked with Matt Scheller as a shop foreman in landscaping for the past ten years. He was the embodiment of the Renaissance Man; becoming a chef, teaching himself to play guitar, creating art, becoming a problem-solving mechanic and welder, and more than can fit in this small space. Scott was a spitfire who valued honesty in others above all else.

In addition to his mother, Scott is survived by his brothers, Thomas (Patricia) Mason of Phoenix, AZ, and Ricci Mason of Marrietta, GA; half sisters, Jackie (Brian) Lengyel, and Jamie (Greg) Fritz; uncle, Dennis Brain; aunt, Judy (Dr, Richard) Bannon; nieces & nephews, Christopher (Amber) Mason, Adam (Hannah) Mason, Gina, Elizabeth, and Bonnie Mason; great-nieces, Charlie & Madaline Mason; and great friends, Matt & Melissa Scheller. Scott is preceded in death by his step-dad, Robert Sobczak.
