Delores "Dee" A. Born, 79, of Freedom, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022. She was born January 2, 1943 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late John Makosey and the late Ann (Yanuta) Makosey. Delores loved life and was a free spirit. She lived on her terms and never let anything stop her. She was very family oriented and loved her family very much. She was very charismatic and always said what was on her mind. She was an extremly hard worker.

She is survived by her sons, James J. (Emily) Born, Jr. of New Derry and Kevin Charles (Shelley) Born of Sewickley, daughter, Lori (Robert) Kisiel of Saxonburg, grandchildren, Rachelle Born, James J. (Leslie) Born, III., Heather (Jacob) Shriver, Robert Kisiel and Matthew Kisiel, great-grandchildren, Jacob, Isaac, Selah and Silas Shriver, neices, Michelle and Angela and nephews, Joseph and Daniel, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marcie Kohan and brother, William Makosey. Friends and family are welcome Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 4-8 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.(412) 751-5000 Drew J.
