Kenneth L. Ferree, age 56, of McKeesport, died on January 3, 2023. Born March 19, 1966, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Lawrence and LaVerne (Harff) Ferree and the husband of Julie (Weakland) Ferree for over 25 years.
Ken was a retired, self-employed general contractor. He was a member and President of the McKeesport Sportsmen's Association. Ken enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, caring for his fleet of cars, and spending time at his Mountain Pines Campground of Champion, PA. His greatest joy was telling a joke and sharing a laugh with family and friends.

In addition to his wife Julie, Ken is survived by children, Kenneth L. (Amy) Ferree, of White Oak, Christopher A. Ferree, of McKeesport, and Nicholas (Amanda Moffat) Ferree, of McKeesport; grandchildren, Dontae and Rayann; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Larry) Williams, of McKeesport; brother-in-law, Robert (Danielle) Weakland, of Dravosburg; sister-in-law, Colleen (Kenneth) Whighman, of Wilkinsburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ken was also preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Ferree, Jr., and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Penny (James) Weakland. Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m and on Sunday from noon until the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.willigfuneralcremationservices.com.
