Robert G. Garbin Sr., 83, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Hillside Manor, Uniontown. He was born July 12, 1939 in Biddle, a son of the late Angelo and Ida (Bianchi) Garbin. Prior to his retirement, Bob was a truck driver for CCX and a member of United Methodist Church of Irwin. He belonged to the Silver Sneaker Softball League, enjoyed watching old movies, and was an avid deer hunter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sondra Garbin, son-in-law, Brent, and siblings, John Garbin, Alice Marsiglio and Fred Garbin. He is survived by his children, Lisa Maskowitz and her husband, Scott, Lori L. Rankin (Tim) and Robert G. Garbin Jr.; grandchildren, Nicole (Chris), Trista (Marty), Michael (Beth), R.J. (Nicolette) and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Alex, Kendal, Luke, Cayden, Gabriella, Logan, Lila and Bennett. Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA 15642. A funeral service will take place on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
