George "Chic" Vinovich, 96, of McKeesport, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023. He was born February 22, 1926 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Lazo and Simica (Kusic) Vujnovich. George served in the US Army during WWII and the Korean War. He is survived by his son, George Dean Vinovich of Southport, NC., granddaughters, Ashley and Taylor, and nieces, Kathleen Brennan (William) Gaal, Janet McShea Bailey, Barbara Brennan Alstadt, Marsha McShea (Robert) Bauer and Laurie McShea Vitori and other relatives and friends.

Friends are welcome Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 10 to 11 am at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak. (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, director. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11 am. Entombment with Military Honors will follow at the McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery, McKeesport.
