John Charles Coup, 71, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023 surrounded by family. He was born August 6, 1951, in McKeesport and was the son of the late John Coup and the late Ethel (Sivak) Coup Cush. Now a proud Veteran, John served in the Air Force as an Aircraft Loadmaster and Cargo Foreman, and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He had achieved an Associate's Degree at Triangle Tech & used it to work for US Steel; at Mon Valley Works and Irvin works, he worked and retired as a steelworker. He was a member of USS Local 2227 and a member of the White Oak Legion for 45 years.

John is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Deborah L. (Mossburg) Coup; children, Kevin (Ashley) Coup of Venetia, Michelle (Dave) Rohall of Liberty Borough, and Brandy Coup Odoski of North Versailles; grandchildren, Chassiti Jenkins, Derek & Chance Odoski, and Owen & Theo Coup; his brother, Lawrence (Paula) Calp; sister, Lois (James) Kopasko; and many nieces and nephews.
