Adrasto "Poor George" Casoni, Sr., 68, of Sutersville, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 6, 1954 in West Newton and was the son of Janet (Nuttall) Vargo of North Charleroi, Carol Casoni of Sutersville and the late Adrasto "June Bug" Casoni, Jr. George was the Proprietor of George's Auto Service and Partner of Casoni Bowling Lanes in Sutersville. He was a member of the WMBU, Sutersville Moose, Sutersville Fire Co and the Buena Vista Fire Hall. George was a former member of the West Newton Sportsmen's Club and the Sutersville Council. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and boating. He had a great sense of humor and was well known for his BBQ and Beef Sticks. His house and garage were a local hang out where food and drink were always available.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy Kay (Mayfield) Casoni, daughters, Christina Marie "Crissy" (Reggie) Good of Buena Vista, and Carrie Ann (Laura Campbell) Casoni of Burke, VA., son, Adrasto George Casoni, Jr., of Sutersville, grandchildren, Derrick Stewart, Marissa (Andrew Zeiler) Stewart, and Brooke Good, sister, Elizabeth "Libby" Boden of Sutersville and Renea Vargo of Charleroi, brothers, Primo Casoni of Monessen, Anthony "Tony" (JoAnn) Casoni of Sutersville, George Paul "GP" Casoni of West Newton, Dennis (Kathy) Kimberly of Glassport, Jimmy (Jan) Kimberly of Alaska, and John Vargo of Charleroi, several nieces and nephews and his grand-dogs, Rizzy, Sadie Reese, Ellie Mae, and Parker. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Vargo. There is no visitation. A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at later date.
