Cecelia Maier, 91, of Murrysville, passed away Friday, February 24, 2023. She was born, November 22, 1931 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Tarasovic) Boldy. Cecelia was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Monroeville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Maier; brothers, Vincent (Louise) Boldy, Francis (Dorothy) Boldy; sister, Gabriella (Anton) Janosek; and grandson, Samuel Eldred. She is survived by her son, Tim Maier and his wife, Karen; daughter, Patti Eldred; brother, William Boldy (and the late Mildred Boldy); sister, Henrietta (Francis) Popyack; loving grandmother to, Adam (Daphnna) Eldred, Leah Jimenez, Robert (Haley) Maier, Jenna Eldred, Daniel (Gianna) Maier, Nathaniel Eldred; and 11 great-grandchildren; 4 nieces and nephews, Deb (Jack) Vozel, Bill Boldy, Beth (Vince) Mignogna, and Denise (the late Nathan) Janosek. Friends will be received from 2-7 p.m. Sunday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA 15642. A funeral service will take place Monday in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Allegheny County Memorial Park, Allison Park, PA. Donations may be made to Sheep Inc.
