Daniel "Scap" Scapellato, age 64, of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at home. He was a retired forklift operator at Guardian Industries in Floreffe. He loved fishing, camping and working on cars, and enjoyed attending his granddaughter's softball games. Born July 10, 1958 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Samuel and Mary Ann (Butvin) Scapellato. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Karen S. (O'Hara) Scapellato; sons, Daniel "Boon" (Angel) Scapellato of Rostraver, Samuel (Jess Gemza) Scapellato of Cranberry Twp. and John Michael Sedor of Boston, MA; granddaughter, Jayden "Princess" Scapellato of Elrama; sisters, Rose Mary (Robert) Mozes of Mars, Donna McGivern of Lower Burrell and Denise (George) Salaske of Lincoln Borough; also, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandson, Marc Anthony Scapellato, and sisters, Anita Shiner and Anna Ellis. Friends will be received in the Paul E.
