Antony L. Sayles Sr., 59, died suddenly Feb. 17, 2023. He was born February 16, 1964, a loyal son to Gerald R. Sayles, Sr. and the late Maxine W. Howard Sayles. A little brother to Gerald R. Sayles, Jr. (Stephanie) and the late Alicia G. Sayles. A father to Derika Comedy, A.J. Sayles, Ashley Sayles, Laval Krepp, and Patrick Bell. A nephew to Ruby Ford and Eva Brooker. A godson to LaVal Murphy. An uncle, grandfather, cousin, and friend to literally everyone.

A fan of the McKeesport Tigers, The Ohio State, and dare I say the Washington Commanders. Music festival extraordinaire, movie enthusiast, delighted in attending the Improv, red was the color of choice, amateur chef – although he did make the best greens – strong believer in Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, poet, and above all – he had the most generous soul and heart strings made of gold.

Proverbs 3:5: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. March 2 at Zion Baptist Church, 1300 Locust St., McKeesport, PA 15132, where a funeral will be celebrated at 11 a.m. March 3. Arrangements are in care of Tunie Funeral Home Inc., Homestead.
