Lewis C. Amicone II, 75, of North Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2023 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. He was born December 2, 1947 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Lewis and Anna (Iarussi) Amicone. Prior to his retirement, Lew was a salesman for Penn Lincoln Memorial Park and Striffler's Funeral Home. He was a graduate of Norwin Sr. High School and a veteran of the US Navy stationed on board the USS America (CV66) during the Vietnam Era. He enjoyed going to car shows, swap meets, tinkering in his garage and target shooting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan J. Potter Amicone. He is survived by his sons, Lewis and his wife, Susie, Eric (Derdra); grandchildren, Sean, Scott, Nathan, Lily, Emma, Deric and Samuel. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA 15642. A funeral service will take place on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
