Russell Mark Caley, age 66, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away Friday, March 3, 2023 at Mon Valley Care Center, after a long and brave fight against Multiple Sclerosis. Prior to his physical decline, Russell was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping, fishing, and hunting, and was a longtime member of Elizabeth Twp. Sportsman Association. Born in McKeesport on February 2, 1956, he was a son of the late Dean and Dorothy (Carbaugh) Caley. He is survived by two children, Sabrina (Adam) Fossi of Pittsburgh and Alex Caley of Buena Vista; four grandchildren, Audrey and Enzo Fossi, and Seth and Travis Caley; eight siblings, Wanda (Ken) Durick, Diana (Chuck) Dow, Dean “H” Caley, Vernon (Darla) Caley, Sheila (Tom) Jaskolski, Julie (Randy) Bottorff, Curtis (Lisa) Caley, and Aaron (Carrie) Caley; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Bambi Caley in 2008. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth, PA 15037, on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 10 AM to 12 Noon. Private burial will be in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
