Dorothy Ann Sotak, 93, of Elizabeth Township, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 31, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 12, 1930 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Charles "Chick" and Anna Mae (Bortak) Dansak. She was the wife of the late Michael Vincent Sotak who passed away February 8, 2007. Dorothy was a member of the former Holy Trinity Church in McKeesport and was the Reunion Treasurer for the McKeesport High School Class of 1947. She enjoyed Line Dancing, Ceramics, and her Slovak Heritage and Food.

She is survived by her children, Daniel Michael (Linda) Sotak of Rostraver, Cynthia Louise Giejda of Farmingdale, NJ., and Timothy Michael (Barbara) Sotak of Clarksville, grandchildren, Bridget (Andrew) Valentine, Daniel Sotak, Jr., Ryan (Fiancée, Molly) Sotak, and Michael Giejda, great-grandchildren, Graham and Autumn Valentine, brother, Charles (Evelyn) Dansak of McKeesport, sisters, Carol Taylor of West Mifflin, Virginia Neal, Janet Wargo and Maryann Dansak of McKeesport, Marsha (Robert) Killian of Elizabeth Township and Kathleen Cortes of Liberty Borough. She was preceded in death by her brother, George Dansak and son-in-law, Mark Giejda. Friends are welcome Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 4-8 pm, at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J.
