Richard Paul Betzner, 63, of Greenock, passed away Monday, April 3, 2023. He was born May 27, 1959 in McKeesport and was the son of Robert Louis and Alice Mary (Kalo) Betzner of Greenock. Richard worked for Overhead Garage Door of Pittsburgh for over 25 years and was also a co-owner of the former R & R Bicycle Rental in Greenock. He was a 1977 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Raymond and his wife, Joan Betzner of Williamsburg, VA., sister, Karen Ann Betzner of Greenock, nephew, Jason Paul and his wife, Brandy Humphries-Betzner, and a great-niece, Elizabeth Virginia Betzner. Friends are welcome Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, Director. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, April 7, 2023 at 10 am. Interment will follow at the Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.
