Rudolph P. "Blue Jay" Gori, age 78 of Clairton, passed away at home on Friday, April 21, 2023.  Born July 16, 1944 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Rudolph and Magdalene (Benedetto) Gori.  A US Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam War, Blue Jay worked for 34 years at GM's Fisher Body Plant in West Mifflin.  He was a member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Clare of Assisi Church; the American Legion Daniel Keffer Post #75, and the Sons of Columbus Santa Maria Council #4, all in Clairton.  Blue Jay was also an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, especially the Steelers and Pitt.

He is survived his his wife Judith (Gulasky) Gori; his children Kammie Gori of Clairton, Kevin Gori of Munhall, and Mark (Leslie) Gori of Liberty Borough; his nine grandchildren Ryan Williams, Dominic Solomon, Jr., Dominae Solomon, Julionna Johnson, Garett Gori, Matthew (Kari) Gori, Sal Gori, Lacey (Nick) Keiper, and Kelsey Gori; his seven great-grandchildren; his sister Bernice McIntosh of Clairton and her daughters Michele (Skip) Graham and Kristin (Carl) Peterson; and his former daughter-in-law Jami Gori.  Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton, on Monday, April 24, 2023 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 10 AM in Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Clare of Assisi Church, Clairton.  Procession and burial with military honors will follow to St. Clare Cemetery, Clairton.
