Joseph William Kelley, 83, of Murrysville, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023. He was born July 22, 1939, in North Versailles and grew up in North Braddock. He was the son of the late Theodore D. Kelley Sr. and Frances (Perry) Kelley. Joseph was a US Army veteran and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Murrysville. He was also a member of Harry S. Truman Masonic Lodge #765 in Dravosburg. Joseph was a retired pipe inspector for Elliott Group in Jeanette. He was an avid sportsman who loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed scotch and having good times with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years Carol Jean (Gundlach) Kelley; daughter, Janet Cindric of Elizabeth Township; brothers, Edward Craig Kelley of Tionesta and Robert B. (Shirley) Kelley of Plum Boro; and sister, Nancy Visnic of Mount Oliver and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Theodore D. Kelley, Jr. There is no visitation. Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville on Monday, May 8, 2023, at 1:30 pm.
