Charles W. Pratt, Sr. age 83, of McKeesport, died at home on June 7, 2023. Born May 11, 1940, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late George and Elizabeth (Downes) Pratt-Delehanty and the loving husband of Marsha (Haberjak) Pratt for 38 years.Chuck graduated from McKeesport High School and joined the Army. He was a Firefighter with the City of McKeesport and retired after 31 years of service. When Chuck was younger, he and Marsha enjoyed riding on his motorcycle, and he was an active volunteer with the McKeesport Majorettes Drill Team. Chuck went on many fishing trips for trout with his sons and often fished at Twin Lakes Park. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Charles Jr. (Melissa) Pratt and Kim (Chris) Burek; step-sons, Kenny (Laura) Haberjak and Mark Haberjak; grandchildren, Travis Haberjak, Brittany Haberjak, Jeremy Stiehl, Jamie Stiehl, and Riley Pratt; great-grandsons, Jason Pollitt and Vincent Pollitt; a brother, George Pratt. He was also preceded in death by siblings William Pratt, Thomas Pratt, Betty Putz, James Pratt, and Jean Pratt. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, June 12, 2023, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. with a Fireman's Service at 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial and military honors will follow at McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com.
