Marie Elizabeth Moffat, aged 74, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on May 7, 2025, in McKeesport, PA, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 19, 1950, in McKeesport, she was a beacon of light and an embodiment of love throughout her life. Marie was the cherished wife of Dennis H. Moffat, with whom she shared 54 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and many memories. She was a devoted mother to her three children, Dennis C. Moffat of West Newton, Christina (Michael) Andiorio of Irwin, and Timothy (Melissa) Moffat of Delmont. Her role as a grandmother was one she held dear to her heart, always providing wisdom and warmth to her grandchildren, Andrew Moffat of California, Michelle (Jeffrey) Minnicks of McKeesport, Abigail (Michael) Andiorio of Irwin, and Amanda (Nick) Moffat of Delmont. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Stella Schussler, brothers Edward and Kenneth Schussler, and sister-in-law Lynn Simko.

James A. "Grumpy" Neher, age 89, of McKeesport, died May 7, 2025, at Kane Community Living Center in McKeesport. Born November 12, 1935, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late William Neher and Helen (Zolczar) Neher Oleska and husband of the late Adele (Behary) Neher. James was a proud veteran of the United States Army, enlisting on November 15, 1954, and serving until his honorable discharge on September 26, 1958, where he achieved the rank of Specialist 4 (E-4). His service to his country was not just a chapter in his life, but a testament to his dedication to the values of duty and honor. After his time in the Army, James had a successful career for over 50 years as a truck driver, ending his career with Great American Truck Lines, where he navigated the open roads with the same spirit of adventure and commitment that defined his life. As a lifelong resident of the McKeesport area, he was a familiar face to many, always ready to share a story. James was a member of the Free Hungarian Reformed Church in McKeesport, where he found a deep sense of belonging and community.

Richard P. Pipp, age 86, of White Oak, went to be with the Lord, on April 13, 2025, while at Forbes Regional Hospital. Born on February 15, 1939, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Richard and Pauline (Kerklo) Pipp and his wife Anne Coe Pipp.
Richard's life was marked by service and commitment. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and dedicated 29 years to serving his country as a mechanic, crew chief, and working in construction, attaining the rank of technical sergeant, where he cultivated a passion for aviation that would remain a staple in his life. He was an alumnus of McKeesport Area High School class of 1957 and Ohio University, where he earned an Associate's degree. Richard's professional journey led him to a successful career in construction after his military service, eventually retiring from Ryan Construction. His talents were not confined to his work, actively engaging with organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters and serving as a Boy Scout leader in Ohio, where he imparted wisdom and guidance to countless young individuals. In addition, he served on the McKeesport Area High School class of 1957 reunion committee.

She found true happiness in cooking meals for her loved ones, and her house was often filled with the rich aromas of her culinary creations. She also had a zest for life, enjoying trips to the casino and adventures on cruises, sharing joyous moments with those she loved.

Robert "Bob" V. McClelland, 99, of Irwin, PA, formerly of McKeesport, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 1, 2025. He was born on January 25, 1926, in Glassport, PA.
Bob proudly served in World War II as a Merchant Marine in the Atlantic and Mediterranean War Zones and later spent several years in the Naval Reserve. After his service, he worked for the B&O and McKeesport Connecting Railroads, where he was affectionately known as "RV" by his colleagues.
