Erda M. Ursiny, age 94, of Coulter, died June 17, 2023, at Jefferson Hills Rehabilitation and Wellness Center. Born December 20, 1928, in Versailles, she was the daughter of the late James and Evelyn (Wills) Reinhart and the wife of the late Charles Ursiny.

Erda was a hard worker, always tending to the needs of her family to make sure they were well cared for. She was an excellent baker, sewed baby quilts, and crocheted afghans for her family. Erda loved Christmas time and decorated the house while the children were asleep so when they would wake, the home was all ready.
Erda is survived by her survived by children, Linda (Edward "Butch") Robertson, Joan Driscoll, Grace Ventura, Nancy (Robert) Reed, Charles (Laurie) Ursiny, Jr., Colleen Ursiny, Lisa (Dave Gibb) Good, and Edward (Kimberly) Ursiny; 22 grandchildren, over 30 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Erda was preceded in death by daughter, Evelyn Layton; siblings, Dorothy "Sis" Miller, Pat Kaminsky, and Thomas "Bud" Reinhart.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 2 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, at 10 a.m., at Christ United Methodist Church of North Huntingdon. Burial will follow at Coulter Cemetery.
