Edward A. "Tony" McTurner, 50 of McKeesport, peacefully transitioned October 20, 2016 at home.
Born May 9, 1966 in Jeanette, PA, son of Ida Peal Ford Marshall and the late Louis J. McTurner.
He was a member Bethlehem Baptist Church and former member of the male chorus at Zion Baptist Church.
Tony graduated from McKeesport High School, attended Kent State and graduated from LaRoche college with a B.A. in Business Administration in 1989. He was also a McDonalds All American.
He was a Social Worker for Allegheny County CYF and was formerly employed with the Urban League of Pittsburgh and the McKeesport YMCA.
Survivors include his mother Ida Marshall of White Oak; sisters, Starr (Lance) Marshall-Cash of Philadelphia, Robin (Michael) Marshall-Kelly, and Gretchen Lowery all of McKeesport, PA; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Friends will be received Monday from 4-8 p.m.at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 716 Walnut Street, McKeesport, Pennsylvania, where services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Earlene Coleman, officiating. Interment will follow in the Jefferson Memorial Park, Pittsburgh.
