Barbara J. Jenkner, age 83, of North Huntingdon, formerly of McKeesport, died July 6, 2023, at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. Born July 11, 1939, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Emanuel and Mary Jane (Kelly) Bringe and the loving companion of David F. Diebel Sr. for 25 years.

Barbara started her nursing career at Briarcliff Pavilion Health and Rehabilitation Center and continued on to work with Dr. Ritchie in the White Oak office. She then worked at McKeesport National Bank as a bank teller. Barb enjoyed camping with her family at Slippery Rock Campground and one of her other favorite things was floating around on her family’s pontoon boat at Lake Arthur. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and was dedicated to caring for her family and home.
Barb is survived by her children, Donald (Lynne) of McKeesport, Robert (Joani) of Omaha, NE, Shari Ann (Terry) Smith of North Huntington, and Daniel (Erin) of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Nicholas, Ryan, Travis, Tara, Robbie, Benjamin, Laci, Chelsea, and Micha; great-grandchildren, Bentley, Lily, Abby, Lukas, Charlie, and Paige.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Terri Smith.
