Doris Jean (Snyder) Poff, 94, of Greensburg, formerly of White Oak, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. She was born September 17, 1928 and was the daughter of the late William and Anna (Luthey) Snyder. Doris was a retired banker with the former McKeesport National Bank, former Equibank, former National City Bank in White Oak. She is survived by her son, Mark (Cathy) Poff of Penn Twp.; and granddaughter whom she absolutely adored, Laruen Nicole Poff. She is also survived by a nephew, nieces and great nieces and nephews. Doris is also survived by her grand dog, Cody and great-grand dogs, Twink and Lexi. She loved those dogs dearly. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Poff; brothers, John, Harry and Ralph Snyder; and sisters, Anna (Snyder) Steele, Elverna (Snyder) Kegler and Lois Snyder. Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA 15642. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Rudy officiating. Entombment to follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park. www.shirleyfuneralhome.com
