Richard Vance Fore, age 71, of Verona, formerly of Sheffield, AL, died September 27, 2023, at the Pittsburgh VA Medical Center. Born June 1, 1952, in Sheffield, AL, he was the son of Mary (Balentine) Fore and the late Herman Fore and the husband of Julie (Rager) Fore for fourteen years. Richard served in the Army and was a Vietnam War Veteran and was awarded the following medals and honors, the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Medical Badge, and two Overseas Service Bars.

After retiring from the Army, Rick operated a vinyl siding business. He was an avid sports fan and rooted for the Steelers and Alabama Crimson Tide "Roll Tide!". He also enjoyed trips to the casinos of Las Vegas and the Great Smoky Mountains. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by children, William (April) Rusnock, of Verona, Daniel (Elizabeth) Rusnock, of McKeesport, and Sidney (Brandon France) Rusnock, of McKeesport; grandchildren, Dylan Rusnock, Ryan Detman, Ireland Bost, and Frankie Rusnock. Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. until a prayer service at 11:30 a.m. Burial and military honors will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
