Rose M. Crupie, 90, of White Oak, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023. She was born September 14, 1933 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Gabriel and Vincenza (Liberatore) Amendola. She was the wife of the late Nicholas J. Crupie who passed away August 22, 2009. Rose was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish- St. Patrick Church, Christy Park. She worked for the former Sears Roebuck in McKeesport and later, she and her husband Nick were proprietors of Nick's Confectionary Store on Locust Street in McKeesport until their retirement. She was a 1951 graduate of McKeesport High School.

She is survived by nephews, Mark (Barbara) Amendola and Karl (Renee) Amendola and a cousin, Rosalyn Ruzanic.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, Lawrence (Gloria) Amendola and Anthony (Mildred) Amendola and a nephew, David Amendola. Friends are welcome Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 2-6 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak. (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, Director. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 10 am at Mary, Mother of God Parish-St, Patrick Church. The Rev. Vincent P. Velas will officiate.  Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles.
