Edward Mark Barnette, 71, of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, peacefully departed this life October 29, 2016 in the comfort of his home.

He was born September 14, 1945 in McKeesport, PA son of the late Lucille M. Coleman Flowers and William Barnette and reared in McKeesport by loving step-father Thomas W. Flowers.

He accepted Christ at a young age at Calvary United Methodist Church and later worked as an Associate for Goodwill.

Surviving are siblings, Maureen (DeWayne) Tucker of Duquesne, PA, Kenneth (Alfreda) Burkley of Columbia, SC; Thomas W. (Hilda) Flowers of Dover, DE, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends.

Friends will be received Thursday from 4:00-8:00 p.m.at the at Robert A. Waters Funeral Chapel, 2326 Jenny Lind Street, McKeesport, Pennsylvania. Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. First United Methodist Church, 1406 Cornell Street, McKeesport, Pennsylvania, with Rev. Williams B. Meekins, Jr., officiating.

Interment will follow in the Restland Memorial Park, Monroeville.

Arrangements entrusted to the Robert A. Waters Funeral Home, Inc., McKeesport, PA.
