Mayra Leonor Luna, 69, of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. She was born September 28, 1954 in Guatemala City, Guatamala, daughter of the late Tomas and Maria Leonor (Avila) Aquino. Mayra was a teacher for Seton Hill Day Care and a real estate agent for ERA Real Estate. She was a member of St. Agnes Parish and enjoyed knitting and was a history buff of WWII. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Alvaro Luna; sons, Alvaro E. (Edna), Dr. Esteban, (Kim); daughter, Vivian Winham (Darren); brother, Edgar Tomas Aquino; sister, Ana Lilia Luna (Alejandro); grandchildren, Jasmine Margarita and Catalina Margarita Winham, Alvaro Valentino, Mia Isabella and Lucia Olivia. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Church. Donations may be made to the family thru the funeral home website.
