Rosina Elizabeth Holsing, 86, of Greenock, died Wednesday, November 2, 2016. She was born November 21, 1929 in Benwood, WV, and was the daughter of the late Rev. Paul F. C. Schnizler and the late Julia M. Besse Schnizler. She was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greenock and the Penn State Alumni Association. Rosina was a retired school teacher for the Elizabeth Forward School District. She is survived by her sons, Raymond P. (Cathy) Holsing of State College, Rodger C. (Candy) Holsing of Hempfield, and Robert B. Holsing of Irwin, sister, Julia Elsebough of Sebastian, FL, special sister-in-law, Lois Schnizler of East Aurora, NY, grandchildren, Kristin L. Holsing, Mark A. (Hannah) Holsing, Laura D. (Artur) MacLellen, and Andrew T. Holsing, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Richard J. Holsing, great-grandchild, Josiah E. Holsing and brothers, Paul and Charles Schnizler. Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8, Sunday, November 6 at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, Director.
