Glenn C. McKeown, 98, of Georgetown, Texas, formerly of Greenock, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023 at home. He was born November 9, 1925 in Gratztown, and was the son of the late James Daniel and Nora Bell (Sterner) McKeown. He was the husband of the late Catherine (Maurer) McKeown who passed away February 17, 2020. He was a member of the Greenock United Methodist Church since 1958 and was a retired Craneman for US Steel National Tube Works. He was a graduate of McKeesport High School Class of 1943.

He is survived by his daughters, Diane (Phillip) Boyle of Georgetown, TX., and Janet (Gary) Burkett of Katy, TX., grandchildren, Jeffrey (Sarah) Boyle, Theresa (Bryan) Moore, Christopher Burkett, and Kelly (Jason) Sullins, great-grandchildren, Mack Moore, Julia Moore, Ethan Boyle, Blake Boyle, Kathryn Sullins, Dayvin Sullins, and James Sullins, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Leona Bryson, Edna Hick, Berdella Brinkman, and Verma Davis. Friends are welcome Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 9-11 am., at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.(412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, Director. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11 am., with The Rev. Andrew Flower, officiating. Interment will follow at the West Newton Cemetery.
