Mary Jane Caston, age 86, of McKeesport, died December 12, 2023, at Riverside Care Center. Born July 9, 1937, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Mary Rose (Cartia) Moss and wife of the late Reginald "Russ" Caston for 55 years.

Mary Jane had a charismatic and social personality, which led her to become an active member of several organizations that enriched her community life. Mary Jane was a member of the Red Hat Society, TOPS, and the Renzie Seniors, where she fostered lifelong friendships. Throughout her life, Mary Jane had a special affinity for animals, particularly her beloved cats, and chihuahua, who preceded her in death. In her leisure time, Mary Jane enjoyed shopping and found great pleasure in playing bingo.

Mary Jane is survived by her siblings, Audrey (Philip Koutsouliou) Moss, James Moss, and Theresa Drye; nieces, Cheryl (Sam Orr) Pellecchia, Jamie (Ed Graff) Moss, and Jennifer (the late Mark) Harris; a nephew, Shawn Moss. She is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, December 17, 2023, from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 4 p.m. The burial will be private.
